Abstract

The paper focuses on a method used to process the water from the treatment of uranium-contaminated soil resulting from the operation of JSC "AECC" sublimation facilities by hydroseparation, in particular, on its development and testing results. During the tests, the feasibility of recycled water treatment was demonstrated both suggesting the use of membrane and ion exchange methods with process parameters of the treatment stages identified. The study shows the possibility of producing uranium-containing materials in the form of ammonium polyuranates as secondary products of recycled water processing. A schematic diagram of recycled water purification following hydroseparation treatment of soil excluding the generation of radioactive waste was developed based on the results of the research.
