Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the positions of one of the leaders of the Decembrist movement N. N. Muravyev in relation to the construction of institutions of state power and the court. Having absorbed many progressive ideas, N. N. Muravyev stated his point of view on the place of the judicial system in the administrative and power mechanism in the program political and legal document named by the Constitution. A number of Decembrist ideas were rejected by his contemporaries because of the radicalism of certain provisions, but in the course of further historical development they were perceived and received their implementation.
