Abstract

The article examines the development, current state and prospects of Russian-Chinese trade and economic relations in the oil industry. The article determines the prerequisites for increasing Russian energy exports to China and provides an overview of trade in crude oil and oil products between the two countries as well as the main directions of investment cooperation. The authors analyze the factors facilitating and hindering the development of relations in the oil sector between Russia and China and the opportunities for expanding cooperation amid the reorientation of the Russian energy supplies towards Asia.
