Abstract

The paper describes a model of professional competences of organizational psycholo- gists developed by the authors and provides outcomes of a study carried out to verify the model. The study aimed to explore content and structural features of notions about professional competences of the organizational psychologist in high- and mid-level executives of various fields (manufacture; trading and services; education). The paper presents results of the correlation analysis of such representations in different groups of executives and argues that it is important to take into account prospective employers’ expectations and preferences regarding organizational psychologists in the training of the latter.
