Abstract
Methods related to calculation of Science Index citation and impact-factors of Russian academic periodicals with thematic orientation to problems of safety, environment protection and ecology have been considered. Analysis related to rating of main Russian academic periodicals on the specified subject has been performed. Main problems of Russian scientific periodical press have been designated.
