Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the phraseological errors arising in the process of air traffic control. The authors analyze the main errors made during the transmission of commands and radio messages, their causes, as well as the influence of the use of two languages on flight safety. Particular attention is paid to the factors contributing to the disruption of the perception of messages in English by Russian-speaking pilots. Arguments are given in favor of the use of the English language as the main language of radio communication between the dispatcher and the pilot, which in turn significantly increases the level of air traffic safety.
