Abstract

the article is devoted to the analysis of the role of the International Transport Corridor "North-South" in expanding energy cooperation in the Eurasian region and ensuring the energy security of the Russian Federation. The main directions of Russia's interaction with Iran and India are formulated with the aim of increasing the turnover of energy resources between countries and increasing the level of security of relevant foreign trade relations. The political and geographical aspects of the implementation of projects for creating networks of transport infrastructure facilities and their impact on the processes of ensuring energy security are considered in dynamics. The place of the International Transport Corridor “North-South” in strengthening the national security of the Russian Federation has been determined.
