Abstract
The article examines the features of interbudgetary relations in the Russian Federation, the formation of which began in the 90s of the twentieth century. The reasons for the formation of a rigid vertical of power in the interbudgetary interaction of all levels of state and municipal government are investigated, a comparative analysis of the implementation of this mechanism in Russia and foreign countries with a similar type of state structure is carried out. Based on the author’s generalizations, the necessity of implementing just such a model of interbudgetary relations in Russia at the present stage of development is determined.
