Abstract
The article considers the theoretical and practical aspects of ensuring the financial and budgetary stability of the regional budget (based on the materials of the Republic of North Ossetia – Alania). An assessment of the type of financial stability is given and a SWOT- analysis of the state of the republican budget is carried out, the main problems of ensuring the financial and budgetary stability of the region are identified and some directions for their solution are proposed.
