Abstract

The paper justifies efficiency of the “critical thinking development” technology when working with juridical cases in foreign language classes at non-linguistic higher school. The article reveals the basic principles of working with the cases that correlate with the stages of the “critical thinking development” technology. Scientific originality of the study involves developing a teaching aid system aimed to form students’ critical thinking skills. The research findings are as follows: the authors identify and describe the basic stages of the “critical thinking development” technology, propose a set of exercises and problematic tasks focused on forming students’ critical thinking.
