Abstract

The relevance of the issue of engineering methods for calculating the restoration of bearing capacity of piles in permafrost conditions is considered. A detailed classification of piles used for permafrost soils is provided. The formula for calculating the bearing capacity of the base of a vertically loaded hanging pile is given. The process of thermal interaction of a borehole filled with a heat-containing medium and the surrounding frozen soil is described. Substantiation for the use of the engineering method for calculating the restoration of bearing capacity of permafrost soil in a freezing-in process is presented.
