Abstract

In this study, stability evaluation was conducted through pressure structure analysis according to the material properties of high-temperature and high-pressure valves. To this end, physical properties analysis was conducted to enable analysis of high-temperature conditions of the five most commonly used materials in valve manufacturing. The stress generated in the parts was obtained by analyzing the obtained physical property values and the conditions that occurred during actual valve operation. The local plastic deformation was confirmed by comparing this with the yield stress of the material. In addition, by comparing the data obtained through the stress analysis in the thickness direction with the allowable stress obtained from the ASME code, A564-630 is not coated, A276-440C, A476-431 are coated according to the conditions, and A479-316, A479-410 is required to be coated.
