Специфіка значень народних географічних термінів на позначення лугу в українських східнослобожанських говірках Луганщини

Abstract

Clear that in the folk speech there is no clear distinction between tokens on those that reflect the concept of „floodplain meadows”, or those that are called „land meadows”. The disparity in the name of such formations for speakers is often acquired by external signs of geographic terms, and not by its origin or scientific classification. Therefore, for educated semantic series to designate alkali, we took into account the following relevant features: 1) meadow (general meaning); 2) economic use of meadows; 3) meadow vegetation. Such popular geographic terminology of the Easte Slobozhansky dialects of Lugansk region has not yet been the subject of special study. The article describes the national geographic terms for naming the meadows, their semantic, etymological, word-formation analysis, their features are revealed in the dialects of the Lugansk region in comparison with the Ukrainian literary language and its dialects. The presented dialectal material allows us to study the area of speech contact, to find out the peculiarities of the development of semantics. This contributes to deepening the theory of describing the semantics of the dialectal word and the semantics of specific names in the general linguistic aspect.
