Abstract

The author correlates a set of features defining the legal regime of such a novel of civil legislation in the system of means of individualization of goods as a geographical indication with attributes characteristic of the designation of the place of origin of goods, which has been settled in the domestic legal order for a long time. An attempt is also made to differentiate the two mentioned means of individualization in order to identify the validity of their independent regulation.
