Abstract
The subject of research in this paper is the innovative sustainability of defense industrial enterprises. The paper is purposed to study the relationship between the state and private enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine on the way to ensuring innovative sustainability as well as developing a model of their interaction, researching the peculiarities of the functioning of private enterprises of this industry from the point of view of management. The induction methods were used to collect data on public-private partnerships in Ukraine and form conclusions about the feasibility of creating a model for the functioning of private enterprises in the defense industry; modeling for the formation of a strategic model of a private enterprise in the military industry of Ukraine; comparison to compare the features of the operation of various types of defense-industrial enterprises on the market. Several trends in the defense industry of Ukraine related to the functioning of enterprises of different forms of ownership were analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages were investigated. The need for the development of management approaches to ensure the innovative sustainability of private enterprises of the defense industry of Ukraine as well as for the development of a methodological apparatus for further research have been revealed. Some aspects of public-private partnerships in Ukraine have been studied. Based on the collected information about the experience of the operation of private enterprises, a graphic micro-economic model was developed, which describes the strategy of a private enterprise in the defense industry on the way to ensuring innovative sustainability. It was concluded that in conditions that have radically changed, the vast majority of private enterprises of the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine are at the stage of formation and definition of the functioning model. Therefore, this direction requires the systematization of knowledge and the development of a theoretical and applied apparatus of expertise that can be integrated with this field. Private enterprises in the Ukrainian market for the production of defense products and services have many points for growth in both the short and long term since the production of dual-purpose goods can satisfy civilian and military needs.
