Abstract
The article addresses Arabic naming processes in the Russian sociopolitical discourse in the specified period. The paper analyses the productivity of different word formation means in the scope of naming popular sociopolitical concepts in the discourse of the specified historical periods. It also touches upon the structural and functional features of these words. In this study various materials from newspapers and internet-sources were used, as well as some examples emerged based upon the interaction with native speakers.
