Abstract

The article considers methodological approaches to assess the impact of socio-economic factors on the population’s participation in the stock market. The existing methodologies were analyzed in order to conduct the research. Analytical and comparative approach was used to assess the impact of socio-economic factors on the participation of the population in the securities market. The proposed methodology will allow specialists to assume the behavior of the investor and predict the course of his actions. Also through the analysis of these characteristics it is possible to conduct a more accurate research on the issue of financial literacy and risk tolerance.
