Abstract

The article considers the process of intensification of research activities of future specialists in tourism. The effective ways of realization of research work of students in the educational process in higher education institutions are found out. The types of research work of future specialists in tourism, the principles of its organization and methodological conditions of its provision are analyzed. The development of the personality of the future specialist in tourism, his educational opportunities, needs and interests is considered. It was found that the importance of independent work in the training of future specialists in tourism as the most important form of organization of the educational process of higher education, performed under the guidance of a teacher, but without his direct participation. It is considered that performing any kind of work independently, future specialists in tourism acquire the ability to take personal responsibility; solve problems independently.
