Abstract

The relevance of the study lies in the need to update advanced means of teaching the Russian as a foreign language. The purpose of this article is to analyze the teaching manuals of the Russian language for foreign journalists in modern media context. The field of the research consists of 12 professionally oriented manuals. Scientific methods are represented by analysis, comparison, generalization, and description. The article reveals the problems of the teaching means and gives some methodological solutions taking into consideration modern language and journalistic trends.
