Abstract

The article focuses on the description of the application of mathematical modeling in economics to optimize the material and technical base of agricultural organizations. The use of models in addressing complex problems and tasks to justify the enhancement of the technical potential of agricultural production has proven its effectiveness, as it allows for the determination of optimal parameters for the organization’s economic activities, contributing to increased economic efficiency and reduced material and monetary costs. The article presents three development scenarios for an agricultural enterprise – under minimally and maximally favorable conditions, as well as along the most probable trajectory – each of which considers various factors and constraints. The modeling results demonstrate significant reserves for improving profitability and resource efficiency under various scenarios, confirming the high practical value of the modeling method for the agricultural sector.
