Abstract

This study present methods for the improvement of the vehicle pull audit process focusing on wheel alignment to identify and rectify vehicle pull issues in advance and for the improvement of the vehicle pull performance during the course of the process. This is different from earlier studies which concentrated on improving the vehicle pull performance through finding and tuning of causes and factors. Verification tests of the vehicle pull audit process were conducted for passenger conditions, adjustment timing of wheel alignment and suspension stabilization. And process improvement suggestions were made. Through the study of the improvements in the vehicle pull audit process, it can be concluded that better vehicle pull performance can be achieved inexpensively after vehicle assembly.
