Abstract
Analyzing the provisions of the National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation, the Concept of public security in the Russian Federation, the Concept of an integrated system for ensuring the safety of the population, the annual report of EMERCOM of Russia «Results of response to natural and man-made emergencies in 2021», the author comes to the conclusion that the basic strategic planning documents defining national interests and strategic national priorities in the field of state and public security in Russia, create the necessary conditions for the adequate implementation of such tasks. The forces and means of state bodies determined for the purpose of preventing and eliminating emergencies of a natural and man-made nature cope with the tasks, and state and public security are provided at the proper level.
