Abstract

The necessity of shaping the media education of younger schoolchildren, being able to solve practical tasks in the information society, who can use the information in its different presentation view as well as being knowledgeable about communication modes by means of information technologies in media space is discussed in the article. The aim, forms and factors are considered relevance of media knowledge application in teaching and educational process of primary school. Also, the characteristic for media education methods is presented, the parameters of media literacy which are focused on training students for life in the modern information-oriented society are considered.
