Abstract

The report attempts to present the possibilities of Taekwon-Do sports as a means of improving the motor skills and personal development of children, young men and women of school age. At the same time, the aim is not comprehensiveness in the research, but to assess the possibilities of a pedagogical model for training related to writing a dissertation. The emphasis is on presenting the sport of taekwondo and its opportunities for positive impact on school-age children. The aim of the paper is to present the sport of Taekwon-Do, as an opportunity and a successful way to engage in physical exercises, which will improve the physical activity of children and young people of school age and build them as worthy individuals. In order to reveal the essence of the sport of taekwondo and the relevant connections and relationships with each component of the learning process and sports education of students, we apply theoretical analysis and synthesis of historical literature on the origin and development of sport and its advantages over other sports, including martial arts.
