Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of a science storybook creation program using generative artificial intelligence on the self-efficacy and creative problem-solving skills of the science gifted students in elementaryschool. For this purpose, the program developed in this study was administered to 60 5th grade students in an elementary school science gifted class, and analyzed using the SPSS 26.0 statistical program to determine whether theprogram was effective in improving students' self-efficacy and creative problem-solving skills. The results of this study are as follows. The science storybook making class using generative artificial intelligence was found to have a positiveeffect on improving the self-efficacy and creative problem-solving skills of science gifted students in elementary school. Additionally, these classes were found to improve their scientific attitudes.
