Abstract

The aim of the study is to systematise discursive practices of constructing narrative credibility in an analytical piece. Scientific novelty of the study lies in describing the method of constructing narrative credibility in the specified genre through discursive practices. As a result, the researcher has found that an analytical piece contains the following discursive practices of constructing narrative credibility: use of quotations, references to experts, impersonal and passive constructions, quantitative data, use of parenthetical constructions and clarifications.
