Abstract

When welding metal woven meshes to samples made of steel 45 (similar AISI 1045) by electric contact welding (ECW), a welded joint is formed in the solid phase. The article presents calculations of the main technological parameters of electrocontact welding of metal woven grids to samples made of 45 steel to ensure the continuity of the restored surface and obtain a coating with a given thickness: current strength, forces pressing roller electrodes to the part and the time of the current pulse.
