Abstract
This book takes a comprehensive look into the procedural and theoretic-methodological issues of social research based on materials from the author’s personal conversations with employees at survey centers, while attempting to formulate a theory for field interviewer activities. The life-world of the latter is presented as an essential element in generating social knowledge.
