Abstract
Objectives The purpose of this study was to examine how teacher-child intimacy, conflict, and social withdrawal on life satisfaction, and how these variables were related to media addiction level.
 Methods For this purpose, data from the Korea Children's Panel Survey(12th year) conducted by the Korea Institude of Child Care and Education were used. The SPSS and AMOS programs were used to analyze the collected data, and the effectiveness was verified at the significance level of .05.
 Results First, there were significant differences in teacher-child intimacy and conflict, social withdrawal, and life satisfaction according to the level of media addiction. The overdependency risk group showed higher levels of conflict and social withdrawal than the general group, and the general group showed higher intimacy and life satisfaction than the overdependency risk group. Second, the influence of teacher-child intimacy and conflict on social withdrawal differed according to the level of media addiction.
 Conclusions The general group showed that the influence of intimacy on social withdrawal was lower than that of the overdependence risk group, and the overdependence risk group showed that the influence of conflict on social withdrawal was higher than that of the general group. Therefore, in order to effectively prevent social withdrawal, the general group needs to form close relationships with teachers, and children at risk of overdependence need to pay attention to preventing conflicts.
