Abstract
In the article we present the research results concerning the influence on the rectangular components of cutting forces during fine diamond grinding of friction pieces made of new composite materials, created based on wastes of nickel alloys production type HN55VMTKJu, HN50VTFKJu, EP975 in the electrotechnical, radio electronic and aerospace industries of Ukraine, and which were synthesized for heavy operating conditions of printing machines. The regularities were determined of the influence of fine grinding parameters, type of diamond, grain and bond material of diamond disc on quality parameters of treatment surface taking into account the mechanism of formation of rectangular components of cuttings forces on a cutting-edge of diamond grain in the cutting zone. Moreover, there is defined the dependence of roughness of treatment surfaces of new high-speed composite alloys on regimes of diamond grinding process (rotation speed, line speed, rotation speed of a diamond disc, cutting depth and granularity of a diamond disc). The recommendations were created for selection of diamond discs and cutting parameters for industrial purposes which provide the quality of friction surfaces of high-speed bearings for printing machines.
