Abstract

The article reveals the main features of the disclosure of mythopoetic world view in the poetry of the people’s writer of Yakutia I. M. Gogolev (1930-1998). The author notes possible research directions in the study of mythological poetics as a characteristic stylistic dominant of the writer’s work. Particular attention is paid to the specificity of archetypal images functioning (Great Mountain, World Tree). In the course of the analysis it is ascertained that the defining feature of the individual author’s style of I. Gogolev is the poetics of myth. It is confirmed that archetypal images play a special role in the creation of integral mythological world view. The results of the research show that referring to national mythology is an important feature of the poetics of the author’s works. Folklore motives and subjects are transformed in I. Gogolev’s poetry, creating a kind of “author’s myth”.
