Abstract

The article presents the results of studying the semantic organization of agricultural and soil microbiology terms in the English, Ukrainian and Russian languages. The analysis has revealed the integral features of their meanings and helped to classify them into lexico-semantic groups. The author has examined the structure and systemic relations in each of the subgroups constituting the largest lexico-semantic group “Process” of the agricultural and soil microbiology sublanguage in the English, Ukrainian and Russian languages. Systemic relations, such as re-terminologization, inter-sectoral polysemy, synonymy, were identified in each of the subgroups.
