Abstract
The article describes the results of the study of the views of students of GUU (future personnel officers) about the subject of their professional activities. It is shown how the ideas of students about the ideal image of the personnel officer have a significant formative impact on their personality and are associated with the process of professionalization. Comparison of students ‘answers with experts’ opinions on functions, methods and techniques, professional and important qualities of HR-managers is given.
