Abstract
The purpose of the study was to reveal the factors of satisfaction to treatment in the hospital and the attending physician by patients suffering from depression and neurotic disorders. Material and methods: 16 indepth interviews with patients suffering from depressive or neurotic disorders have been conducted. According to results of the study, the factors of assessment of the hospital are: territory of the hospital, rooms comfort, quality of psychotherapy, personnel attentiveness; characteristics of doctor, availability of different types of assessment, treatment results, parenteral medication, physiotherapy, treatment and food. Characteristics of doctor include emotional support, frequency of contacts with doctor, empathy, respectiveness, explaining of cause of disease and medications effects, explaining in lay language.
