Abstract

The occurrence of a thermionic emission field in a technological mixture during thermodiffusion chrome plating has been established. It is shown that some oxide compounds — components of the technological mixture — are active participants in the emission process. A cell was designed to measure emission currents and the temperature of their occurrence during heating. The contribution of the electro-emission field in comparison with the concentration field in the process of saturation of parts at CTT was determined.
