Abstract

The potential capabilities of a waveguide type resonator forming compressed microwave pulses are considered. The uncertainty function of the radio signals generated by the resonance compression method is analyzed. The influence of the pre-pulse and post-pulse on the potential range resolution has been studied. The results of experimental studies of the scattering characteristics of a corner reflector with polarization transformation when irradiated with microwave radio signals of microsecond and nanosecond duration are presented.
