Abstract
This article introduces the Tibetan xylographic text Gnam sa snang brgyad (Eight manifestations of heaven and earth), which is one of the Tibetan editions of the Chinese Buddhist apocryph — Sutras of eight light-bearing heavens and earth (Chinese fó shuō tiāndì bā yáng shén zhòu jīng), or Bayan-jing (Chinese bāyáng jīng). The text is kept in the Fund 15 of the Scientific Archive of Kalmyk SC of RAS. This monument belongs to the dharani-sutra genre, which had a ritual purpose in the first place. In the Tibetan tradition, such sutras were combined into collections of Sundui and Domang, reading of which was able to eliminate various negative influences and obstacles. An analysis of the text of Gnam sa snang brgyad shows that it is a fragment of one of the xylographic editions of Sundui, probably made in China
