Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of problems and prospects for ensuring food security based on the development of the domestic market for processing alfalfa hay. Exports of flour and alfalfa pellets from the Russian Federation, the dynamics of sales volumes of flour and granules from Lucerne in Russia have been analyzed.
