Abstract
Federal Law No. 247, dated July 31, 2020 “About mandatory requirements in the Russian Federation” has established legal regime for all kinds of mandatory requirements for the first time, which are connected with carrying out of business and other economic activities and thereby it has given them qualities of a single institute of administrative law. The article analyzes the contents of the institute of mandatory requirements, specifics of its formation and administrative legal impact on business and other economic activities. Levels of legal regulation of the mandatory requirements are examined carefully.
