Abstract
The article examines the situation in the sphere of unlawful interference in railway operation. The types of potential threats from unauthorized interference: stealing, explosions, damage by hazardous substances, blocking, capture. The main factors facilitating unauthorized interventions in the financial and economic, personnel, technical, technological, military, legal, organizational and administrative subsystems of the mechanism of economic security of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia". The conclusion is made about necessity of new approaches, methods and mechanisms of combating unauthorized interference in the work of railway transport taking into account international experience and Ukrainian realities, scientific approaches and analyses available own experience. It proposes a set of measures aimed at improvement works to confront and neutralize threats from unauthorized interference in rail transport, among which are the necessity of an organizational structure of safety management and training in the sphere of ensuring economic safety on a railway transportation.
