Abstract

The results of modeling the dynamics of walking machines of the "heavy" weight category with cyclic type propellers are considered. The influence of the number of legs (walking mechanisms) in the mover on the structure of power costs spent on movement is revealed. It is shown that an increase in the number of legs in the propulsion system, despite the obvious increase in its inertial characteristics, leads to a decrease in the dynamic load of the drive of walking machines.
