Abstract

The paper observes the issues of calculation of anomalic distribution of frequencies and sizes of defects in titanium alloy billets and forgings for gas turbine engine disks, for the case of absence of statistical information of defects detected during non-destructive testing. Deficiency evaluation method is proposed, taking into account individual scanning schemes at ultrasonic testing. A mathematical apparatus is given, which makes it possible to numerically evaluate deficiency for titanium alloy billets and disks for gas turbine engine.
