Abstract
This paper investigates the peculiarities of general didactic, methodology and literary principles applying during the learning of literary works with mythological visualization at the Ukrainian literature lessons in the high school. Scientifically substantiated and exemplified the general didactic principles of natural correspondence, dearness and scientific. Among the methodology and literary principles we selected textfocused, intertextuality and problematic.
