Abstract

The peculiarities of the systematic approach to the problem of formation of communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages by means of information and communication technologies have been reviewed in the article. It is noted that the system approach determines the leading system characteristics of competence, professional training, information and communication technologies. The system objects that are subject to study and experimental verification are characterized: professional training of future foreign language teachers in institutions of higher education as a system; communicative competence as a system object; information and communication technologies as a system phenomenon and process; model and technology of formation of communicative competence of future teachers. The system characteristics of the formation of communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages by means of information and communication technologies are presented. The importance of a systematic approach to the problem of forming the communicative competence of future foreign language teachers is emphasized. It is determined that the existence of communicative connections between the components of the system and the components of the external environment refers to the two main structural connections of the system (subordination and coherence). Subordination presupposes the existence of a dominant, main component of the system, which is decisive in the functioning and development of the system object. It is determined that such a main component in the system of formation of communicative competence of future teachers are information and communication technologies. The consistency relationship, on the other hand, presupposes the equivalence of system components; in our study, such equivalent components are, firstly, the components of communicative competence of future teachers, and secondly – the components of the model / technology of formation of this competence by ICT. The author's definition is developed taking into account the specifics of the subject of research; on the basis of a systematic approach is outlined the formation of communicative competence of future teachers of foreign languages as a complex dynamic open system with both material and abstract features. These system characteristics make it possible to design a model and technology for the formation of this competence from a set of interrelated components that ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of these models and technologies.
