Abstract

The current research aimed to verify the effectiveness of a rational emotional counseling program to reduce emotional disturbances among secondary school students who are aware of their mothers’ spousal abuse. The study tools were the emotional disorders scale, and a rational emotional counseling program to reduce the symptoms of emotional disorders among secondary school students who are aware of marital abuse (prepared by the researcher). Emotional disturbances in favor of the control group, and the results of the research revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the mean ranks of the experimental group scores in the tribal and remote measurements on the emotional disturbance scale in favor of the tribal measurement
