Abstract
본 연구의 목적은 충주시 결혼이주여성의 자녀양육 및 교육 지원을 위한 조례 개정안 제시이다. 이를 위해 전라남도-충청북도 및 목포시-충주시의 다문화가족지원 조례를 비교 · 분석하였다. 구체적으로는 다문화가족지원 조례의 구성과 주요 내용, 조례 제정 및 개정 연혁, 지원대상 및 지원사업, 자녀양육 및 교육 관련 조항을 비교 · 분석함으로써, 지역 간 조례의 공통점과 차이점을 제시하였다. 조례분석 결과, 충청북도와 충주시 조례는 전라남도와 목포시 조례와 비교하여 자녀양육 및 교육 관련 조항이 부재하거나 구체적이지 못하였다. 충주시 다문화가족지원조례의 주요 개정안으로 자녀양육 및 교육 조항 구체화, 한부모 결혼이주여성을 위한 조항 신설, 정보접근성 강화를 위한 조항 개정, 결혼생활의 단계별 서비스 조항 구체화를 제시하였다. 충주시 다문화가족지원 조례 개정을 통해 결혼이주여성을 위한 자녀양육 및 교육 서비스가 강화되고, 지역 간 조례 비교 연구가 활성화되기를 기대한다.
