Abstract

The article presents the technology of the railway divisions in handling the automatic registration of shipping documents for transportation of empty gondola cars in domestic traffic (“Autoagent”). Regulatory and technical documents defining the procedure for the implementation of the technology are studied in detail, and some setbacks in the registration of transportation documents based on paper medium are identified. The “Autoagent” system failures after updating the AS ETRAN program, which is in constant operation on the East Siberian Railway, are determined and analysed. Conclusion on the implementation and improvement of the experimental technologies and various programs that are in constant use are made.
