Abstract
The main principles of learning are grounded in the article, the process of gradual formation of students' cognitive activity is revealed, the main components of cognitive activity are defined and the levels of its development are determined. Effective and key principles that guide the design of learning technologies are the principles of perspective and continuity in learning a foreign language. The importance of the principles of perspective and continuity can be traced to the current orientation of the whole education system, which is holistic in nature (pre-school – primary – senior – higher education).The paper proposes effective ways to implement these principles in the educational process: the prospect of realizing by introducing a propaedeutical acquaintance with the basics of sections of the topics to be studied, and the continuation – repetition, generalization of previously learned material. Undoubtedly, an important condition for succession is the ability to see a longterm perspective in the future. Foreign language training for the bachelor's educational level is in two stages: in the first year of study to organize a corrective foreign language course, the purpose of which is to reach B1 level and prepare students for further professional foreign language activities. In the content of the corrective course, it is advisable to combine non-duplicate school curriculum with elements of vocational training. Master's studies should be oriented towards the continuation of advanced mastery of a foreign language (level B2 + С1) in order to use it in both oral and written language according to the needs of specific areas of preparation. Creating appropriate conditions to ensure the implementation of the above principles in foreign language learning will allow graduates to access to foreign information resources, will facilitate the exchange of ideas in the international professional environment during discussions, conferences and forums, which will enhance their qualification level in the market and their professional skills.
