Abstract

The article provides a survey of modern educational technologies used while teaching the discipline “Russian Fiction” to foreign students. The relevance of the study is conditioned by the necessity to raise foreign students’ motivation for studying the Russian language and literature, to promote the development of the students’ Russian normative speech skills. Modern educational technologies help to raise the foreign students’ interest in reading fiction not only in Russian but also in the native language, promote the formation of the learners’ communicative, speech, linguo-cultural, crosscultural and thematic competences.
