Abstract
The article presents the results of a study of the processes of ensuring the energy security of agricultural producers in the context of the implementation of the policy of food import substitution and an increase in non-resource agricultural exports. The performance indicators of the electric power industry of the Russian Federation are analyzed. Unused reserves of production capacity in the production of food products in our country have been identified.
